Structure and composition of rivet nuts

Rivet nuts typically consist of a nut body, a deformable portion (or warp portion) at the top of the nut body, and a nut head at the top of the deformable portion.

 

A flat-head, semi-hexagonal, blind-hole, glue-coated rivet nut includes a nut body, a deformable portion, and a nut head. The nut head has an internal hexagonal hole. The nut body has a progressive expansion groove and a wear-resistant coating. A first positioning piece is externally fixed to the deformable portion at the connection with the nut body. The glue-coating portion has a glue-coating groove and an anti-loosening groove to improve glue quality and adhesion. Anti-loosening rivet nuts have a polyurethane anti-corrosion paint and a waterproof coating on the nut body and the warp portion, and may have anti-slip teeth to increase installation torque. A large flat-head, cylindrical, high-step rivet nut integrates the cap body, high-step portion, deformable portion, expansion portion, and guide portion into one unit, simplifying the traditional connection structure. A high-strength aluminum alloy rivet nut includes a replaceable threaded inner ring, which engages with a fixing groove via a flexible locking rod, and has a locking rod to improve connection stability. The high-load-bearing flower rivet nut has a reinforcing plate fixed to the lower part of the outer side of the flower rivet nut body, and a wall-breaking groove is opened in the body. It is formed by cold heading process to improve the hardness and load-bearing capacity of the parts.
